Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers famously played 20 nights at the legendary Fillmore venue in San Francisco in 1997. 6 of the shows were professionally recorded and this release features many of the high points of the residency. The small venue allowed the band to vary their sets each night; they included re-arranged and distinctive versions of their hits, deep cuts, and many cover versions – paying tribute to the artists that Tom and the band had been influenced by. The 4 CD deluxe edition includes 58 tracks, 35 of which are covers – over 4 hours of music. The 4 CDs are packaged in a box with a 32-page booklet (with previously unseen photographs), 3 custom guitar picks, a replica All Access laminate, and an embroidered patch (“The Fillmore House Band” – a term that was bestowed on The Heartbreakers during the shows at the Fillmore).

Joni Mitchell was at a turning point 50 years ago. After making four acclaimed albums with Reprise Records, including her 1971 masterpiece Blue, she left the label to join the brand-new Asylum Records in 1972. Over the next seven years, Mitchell would record some of the most acclaimed music of her career while changing her musical direction by adding more jazz elements into her songwriting. The evolution culminated in 1979 with Mingus, her collaboration with jazz titan Charles Mingus, and her studio last album for Asylum.
Explore the beginning of that prolific era with THE ASYLUM ALBUMS (1972-1975), the next installment in the Joni Mitchell Archives series. The collection features newly remastered versions of FOR THE ROSES (1972), COURT AND SPARK (1974), the double live album MILES OF AISLES (1974), and THE HISSING OF SUMMER LAWNS (1975). All four were recently remastered by Bernie Grundman.
The cover art for THE ASYLUM ALBUMS (1972-1975) features a previously unseen painting by Mitchell. The set also includes an essay by friend and fellow Canadian Neil Young. He writes: Joni's music is so deep and transporting. She comes right from the source. There is no mistaking it.For The Roses, Court And Spark, Miles Of Aisles, and The Hissing Of Summer Lawns.are all classics in my book. I listened to every album as it came out. The musicians she played with were always above my abilities. She had grown from folk to jazz and in between, creating a unique kind of sound that I loved to listen to over and over.
THE ASYLUM ALBUMS (1972-1975)
THE ASYLUM ALBUMS (1972-1975) follows Mitchell's musical evolution over four albums as she embraced more jazz-inspired pieces and moved away from the folk and pop of her early years. It includes essential tracks like her first Top 40 hit, You Turn Me On, I'm A Radio and her highest-charting (#7) single Help Me, plus favorites like Free Man In Paris, Raised On Robbery and In France They Kiss On Main Street.
FOR THE ROSES
FOR THE ROSES, which was released 50 years ago this November, was certified gold and added to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry in 2007. Court And Spark topped the U.S. album chart and was certified double platinum, making it the best-selling album of Mitchell's career. It was nominated for multiple GrammyO Awards, including Album of the Year, and won Best Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist for Down To You.
MILES OF AISLES
MILES OF AISLES is a double live album that spotlights the tour for Court And Spark. It reached #2 on the album chart and was certified gold. The Hissing Of Summer Lawns was certified gold as well, peaking at #4 on the album chart and earning a Grammy? Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Nimrod, Green Day’s fifth studio album, was originally released on October 14 1997. The Billboard Top 10 LP declared “Green Days best!” by Kerrang was driven by the hit singles “Hitchin’ A Ride”, “Redundant”, “Nice Guys Finish Last” and “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” the latter of which has sold 5 million copies in the US alone. The song was written as a spiteful ballad and has evolved into the soundtrack of everyone’s seminal life moments; even being featured in the Seinfeld series finale. The album has sold over 3 million copies in the US (triple platinum) and has been certified multi-platinum, platinum, or gold in several other countries, including the UK, Japan, Canada, Australia and Spain.
This 25th Anniversary Edition includes the original album, one disc of previously unreleased Nimrod demos, and a live set from Philadelphia recorded one month after Nimrod was released.

Following the success of 2020’s deluxe reissue of Vienna, on 16 September Chrysalis Records will release a box set of the Utravox’s second album with Midge Ure, Rage In Eden.
Originally released in October 1981, as with the bands previous two albums, Rage In Eden was produced by Conny Plank (Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!) at his studio in Cologne during the summer of that year.
After ‘Vienna’ was an international hit single and the subsequent success of the album of the same name, the pressure was on for Ultravox to deliver a dynamic, popular follow up. Seizing the opportunity this achievement afforded them, the band decided to enter the studio with nothing prepared, challenging themselves to take advantage of the studio as an instrument as much as possible.
Crafting the songs in the studio, the creative and recording process lasted three months (with only a short break to head home to the UK and headline a concert at Crystal Palace). Although Ultravox continued with the popular electronic new wave style they developed on their previous album, this time they strove to create a more complex and introspective sound.
The resultant album is a more ambitious, starker and austere than its predecessor. It features several long tracks – ‘The Voice’, ‘We Stand Alone’, ‘The Thin Wall’ and ‘Stranger Within’ – with the last three songs interconnected into one long sequence. The songs’ lyrics are darker, featuring obscure and surreal imagery. These depths and artistic achievements have long made it the band and fans’ favourite Ultravox album.
This new 5CD/1DVD Box Set features the original album, a new stereo mix of the album by Steven Wilson, along with a host of single mixes, b-sides, rehearsals and work in progress mixes and a newly mixed full concert recorded at Hammersmith Odeon, London in 1981.
The format is a 12” x 12” rigid slipcase, holding two gatefold sleeves, gold 6x Card Wallets, a 12” x 12” 20 page booklet including newly written notes by Warren Cann and unseen photos, a second booklet with a reproduction of the original Rage In Eden Tour Programme.

Animals 2018 Remix - The iconic 1977 Pink Floyd album has been remixed for the first time by James Guthrie. Animals is a concept album, focusing on the social-political conditions of mid-1970s Britain, and was a change from the style of the band’s earlier work. The album was developed from a collection of unrelated songs into a concept which describes the apparent social and moral decay of society, likening the human condition to that of animals. Taking inspiration from George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the album depicts the different classes of people as animals with pigs being at the top of the social chain, dropping down to the sheep as the mindless herd following what they are told, with dogs as the business bosses getting fat on the money and power they hold over the other. Although it’s been a long time since 1977, the narrative of the album still resonates today as our social and economic situation mirrors that of the time.

Released in November 1971, just six months after his eponymous solo debut, Rory Gallagher’s second album, Deuce, was the summation of all that he’d promised in the wake of Taste’s collapse. Rory wanted to capture the feeling of a live performance, so he would look to record immediately after live concerts while keeping production to a minimum.
He chose Tangerine Studios, a small reggae studio, in Dalston in East London, due it’s history with legendary producer Joe Meek. With Gerry McAvoy on bass guitar and Wilgar Campbell on drums, the album was engineered by Robin Sylvester and produced by Rory. Deuce features many Rory highlights, from the blistering Crest Of A Wave to the Celtic-infused I’m Not Awake Yet.
“There was one day when I was playing along with the Deuce album which
was a complete turning point for me as a guitar player”

Iron Fist is repositioned as a vital snapshot of Motörhead at a crucial period when they found themselves caught in the tornado ignited by success and, in true Motörhead style, careered into their next phase at such velocity it transcended logic or reason to become this trio’s final kamikaze joyride. Forty years later, with fall-out long dissipated and a proper mastering job that avoided it at the time, Iron Fist sounds like prime Motörhead with the gloves and seat-belts off. For sheer velocity, it could be fastest of them all, the ferocious title track earning such an accolade in Kerrang! in its tribute spread to Lemmy after he passed away. By 1982, punk had been and gone, the new wave of heavy metal sounded squeaky and cliched next to its grubby godfathers and, while still trouncing all opposition, Motörhead retained that essential ability to laugh at everything, including themselves as they made lightning raids on every sense and orifice with everything cranked to overload. The Iron Fist album; brand new remaster created from the original tapes. Pressed on vinyl as a triple album in a 20 page bookpack. Includes a full live show from Glasgow Apollo released for the first time, plus previously unreleased album demos.
